I’ve seen a lot of posts theorizing about Calmasis’ name (Lil’ Cal etc.), but not even one pointing out the reference to myth about Salmacis and Hermaphroditus… or maybe I just missed it.
Last week at second-hand shop I saw one truly 100% shoujo sport jacket. It was like, projecting magical girls SO here’s one magical grumpy brat wearing it! She uses her magical bat and magical ball to defend poor kids at school from bullies, perhaps? Or maybe not, maybe she’s foe of some other good mahou shoujo and only causes commotion… always unrecognizable under her (magical???) baseball cap, chewing pink bubblegum. Yeah.
